Apparently it’s a good day to catch someone cheating. It seems that it’s believed many people will try to spend time with their spouse or primary lover, but also get away and spend some time with the person that they are cheating with.

    So a date at the movies sounds like an easy no brainer, it’s been part of the American heritage for many years, but a date at the movies is not as simple as it looks in the movies.

    Tonight was a great night for a movie date, and for several reasons. First off it was an easy choice since there a new film out that we would both enjoy seeing. That takes out the whole “let’s barter about which movie to see”. Often it’s a choice of something the girl is going to enjoy and the guy will be bored with, or visa versa. Tonight that was not an issue. Twilight was still playing, and we both wanted to see it.

    Today I read an interesting article from a girl who had a great experience with speed dating at her college in Oregon. I was impressed that she included some other sides of the coin such has some negative issues with speed dating, things that I had not considered. I was glad to see that she put the bad parts to the side and found someone to spend a lot of quality time with that she really enjoyed being around. Seems that a few quick 3 minutes dates led her to a fantastic 2 year relationship – not a bad investment of time at all!

    This story brought a tear to my eye! In an article from Reuters, that I found via yahoo news, we learn that an 81 year old man posted online looking for younger women to date. After conversing with more than 50 women and meeting and dating several, he hooked up with a girl 23 years younger, and they just got married!

    Interesting article found via the Tennessean, originally from a USA today writer, asks the question of what to call the person you are intimately involved with, when you are over 25. I agree that boyfriend and girlfriend may sound childish when you are over 30 in some circles and social situations.

    This is the story of how I’m getting over my fear of asking someone out, and why.

    Tonight I was at the local cafe with some friends and this beautiful girl walks down the stairs and our eyes meet. The eye contact lasted longer than I expected, and when she got to the bottom of the stairs she looked down, then looked back at me. At this moment I knew there was a mutual attraction between the two of us, I certainly did not expect the look back. I couldn’t help but to stare watch her walk outside the cafe. I gazed with admiration as she walked around the corner, and she actually looked back at me, it was a look of interest, not a look of “why are you staring at me”.
